Wayne State University came into existence in 1933 with the merger of several unrelated colleges and schools. It is a public research university located in Detroit, Michigan. The university has an approximate enrollment of 33,000 students. Wayne State University offers courses through its schools and colleges, namely, Education, Engineering, Fine, Performing, and Communication Arts, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Library and Information Science, Nursing, Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Honors College, Social Work, Business Administration, Graduate School, Law, and Medicine.
