The University of Kentucky, founded in 1865, is a public institution located in Lexington, Kentucky. Academic programs are offered at the university via the various colleges and schools that include: Agriculture, Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Communications & Information Studies, Design, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, Health Sciences, Law, Public Policy & Administration, Medicine, Nursing, Diplomacy and International Commerce, Public Health and Social Work.
