Florida State University was established in 1851 and is located in Tallahassee, Florida. It has an enrolment of approximately 40,000 students. The University offers bachelors degrees in various fields of American studies, chemistry, classics, computer science, computational biology, history, Greek, humanities, Latin, mathematics, meteorology, physics, business, engineering, IT, music and studio art. The University also awards masters and doctoral degrees and carries out dual and joint degree programs in the areas of sciences, arts, engineering, language and education.
