I had always wanted to specialize in Cad/CAM in my Masters and Northern Illinois provided the perfect setting for me. I had also taken courses in Mechanical softwares like Pro/e , catia and Autocad .and on the advice of my graduate school adviser. My project work in undergraduation was not in field of CAD/CAM it was in the field of Pollution control equipment but still I was attracted towards CAD/CAM and ended up specialising in it at Illinois !!
My Acads at the time of applying was 65%, Gre 1150 and Toefl 267. Got the visa easily...no issues.
My father and my sister were my Sponsors and they funded me.
The comprehensive teaching and the cutting edge research carried out at NIU made the whole program interesting.
